Limited Capacity seats available

In this session, we will explore the Southern Poverty Law Center's Learning for Justice: Social Justice Standards and how they can be reinforced through lessons in the school garden. The anchor standards (and age-appropriate learning outcomes) are divided into four domains—Identity, Diversity, Justice and Action. Attendees will participate in a connected series of academically-aligned school garden lessons and will then discuss how the lesson addressed the Social Justice standards as well. Attendees will also have a chance to discuss what this lesson and what these standards may look like in their unique individual settings.
